Sembro Limited Edition 2021
100% Tinto Fino
Tempranillo
SEMBRO LIMITED EDITION: It consists of a selection of the best vineyards that we allocate for Sembro. It is aged in new barrels for 12 months and we usually bottle it a year and a half after its harvest. It is a Tempranillo monovarietal locally called Tinto Fino. It comes from vineyards over 25 years old in the Pesquera de Duero area, with more limestone and poorer soils located in the highest parts of the Duero river terraces. It is a consistent wine, with firm tannins and tension, although enveloped in the mouth by a certain creaminess from its time in new barrels. We believe that it has a aging / improvement potential in the bottle of about 10 years. It is a wine with which we try to convey the character of the Ribera del Duero aging wine, being an excellent exponent to see an average dimension of what the Ribera del Duero Tinto Fino is like with an aging in its fair measure.
This brand has been on the market for 6 years and its consumption is divided between 70% for the national market and 30% for the international market. The average production is 28,000 bottles.
