SEMBRO: It is our youngest entry-level wine for Ribera del Duero, aged for between 3-4 months in new and second-year barrels. It is within the category of so-called medium breeding – oaks. Each new vintage is put on the market approximately 8/10 months after the harvest. It is a monovarietal of Tempranillo locally also called Tinto Fino. It comes from vineyards aged between 15 and 30 years in various areas of Ribera del Duero, although with a good base of grapes from Pesquera and its surrounding towns. The soils of its vineyards are limestone and stony and are mainly located in areas comprised of medium terraces and the Duero river valley. It is a wine with a lot of fruit, jovial on the palate, but at the same time with sweet tannins from its brief stint in the barrel. We believe that it has an aging / improvement potential in the bottle of about 4/5 years. It is a wine with which we try to transmit the most fruity character of the Ribera Fino Tinto Fino after a brief stint in the barrel, being an excellent wine to start enjoying the Ribera del Duero. This brand has been on the market for 20 years and its consumption is divided into 75% for the national market and 25% for the international market. The average annual production is about 250,000 bottles.

Tasting Notes: It is a wine with a lot of fruit, jovial on the palate, but also fresh and pleasant with sweet tanninsfrom its brief time spent in the barrel. It can be kept for up to five years.

Definition: It is our youngest and entry-level wine, aged for 3 months in barrels, each year we put it on the market approximately 10 months after harvest, it is a Tempranillo monovarietal locally called Tinto Fino. It comes from the youngest vineyards (approximately 20 years old) and from the lowest part of the estate. It is a wine with a lot of fruit, jovial on the palate, but at the same time with sweet tannins from its brief stay in the barrel that make it round and pleasant. We believe that it has an aging / improvement potential of about 4/6 years in the bottle. The annual production of this brand is about 250 thousand bottles. It is a wine with which we try to transmit the most fruity character of the Tinto Fino ribereña from our estate.

Vineyards: The Sembro vineyards are in the lower part of the property. Protected to the north by a hill and facing the Duero River to the south. Sandy soil, with some clay and limestone content. Vines are 22 years old. Trellis plantation and 100% Tempranillo /Tinto Fino variety
